Visit to the Knesset, Jerusalem, 2 July 2024

Oliver McTernan and Jordan Morgan held meetings in the Knesset, in Jerusalem, with Likud, Shas, Labor, and Meretz. They held discussions on the necessity of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the release of the hostages.

They convened a meeting between senior Likud party officials and trauma experts to discuss the impact of inherited and collective trauma on Israeli society, particularly on political decision-making.

Whilst there, they also met with party leaders from Shas and the newly formed ‘The Democrats’ party which was created in July by the merger of the Israeli Labor Party and Meretz.
