Visit to the Israel-Lebanon border, 4 July 2024

On 4 July, Oliver McTernan and Jordan Morgan travelled to the Israel-Lebanon border. They met with local mayors and officials from the local Israeli Druze villages.  They also travelled to a local hospital to meet with doctors and health officials. 

During the visit more than 200 rockets were fired after the killing of a senior Hezbollah commander. 

The purpose was to assess the impact of the escalating situation between Israel and Hezbollah and risks of a broader regional conflict.
