Oliver McTernan and Julian Weinberg hold meetings in Berlin, 9-10 May 2019

On the 9th and 10th of May, Oliver McTernan and Julian Weinberg travelled to Berlin for a series of meetings with senior politicians and policymakers. This including discussions with Norbert Roettgen, chair of the foreign affairs committee; Neils Annen, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office;  and members of the Foreign Office's Gulf and MENA departments.

Meetings provided a valuable opportunity to discuss key developments in the region, as well as Germany's ongoing participation in the Helsinki Policy Forum.
