As part of the work of the Helsinki Policy Forum, Julian travelled to Saudi Arabia for a number of meetings. These included discussions with members of the Shura Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as the King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies.  The visit was an opportunity to update our network on the work of the Helsinki Policy Forum and to explore recent developments in the region.
