Helsinki Policy Forum Working Group Meeting - Helsinki, 9th November 2020

On the morning of the 9th of November, a working group of the Helsinki Policy Forum was host in Helsinki by H.E. Pekka Haavisto, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland.This meeting was addressed by H.E. Adel Al Jubeir, Minister of State of Saudi Arabia, who shared the Saudi perspective on the challenges and opportunities in light of Covid-19, and where the immediate priorities for conflict de-escalation, shared problem-solving, and economic cooperation should lie.The Minister provided a comprehensive overview of regional and international developments, including ongoing progress towards delivering the Kingdom's Vision 2030, efforts to improve peace and security in the Red Sea, and the Saudi response to the pandemic.
