Health Working Group - 23 June 2021

On 23 June, the Helsinki Policy Forum Health Working Group convened representatives from Europe, the Gulf-MENA region and the World Health Organisation to discuss the latest pandemic situation in different countries and to look for ways of moving forward in cooperation and innovation.As governments throughout the world look to further open their societies and economies, the Working Group discussed ways of facilitating the movement of goods and people, essential for the economy, while containing the spreading of the virus. Several key aspects were discussed, including the challenges faced across borders and the need for trans-national mechanisms for communication and equitable vaccine delivery.
