Perspectives on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, 14 and 17 June 2024

On 14 and 17 June, Forward Thinking organised two online meetings led by key Palestinians and Israelis respectively, to hear their perspectives on the war in Gaza, post-7 October.

The first of these meetings took place with Dr Basem Naim, the former Minister of Health in Gaza. Participants included parliamentarians, diplomats and senior journalists from Bahrain, Egypt, Ireland, Libya, South Africa, the UK, the UN, and the US.

The second discussion was with Ariel Bulshtein, Head of International Relations of the Likud party. Participants included parliamentarians, diplomats and senior journalists from France, Ireland, Norway, the Order of Malta, South Africa, Sweden, the UK, the UN, and the US.
