The Director of Forward Thinking was invited to give a short speech at an European Council for Foreign Relations (ECFR) conference on the theme: "Britain and France: Doing more together to defend the two state solution?"The event brought together a number of senior analysts, parliamentarians and diplomats from both Britain and France to explore the role the two countries can play in helping to achieve peace in Israel and Palestine. It was noted that as the two countries have good relations with both Israeli and Palestinian authorities and considerable diplomatic weight both in Europe and internationally, they may be uniquely placed to help chart a new path forward.
