Forward Thinking hold workshops and roundtables with youth activists and senior politicians in Tunisia, 12-14th December 2015

Forward Thinking’s Harry Higginson and Jordan Morgan travelled to Tunisia on the 12-14th December 2015 for roundtables and discussions with senior politicians and a variety of youth leaders from political and civil society.

The focussed and lively discussions highlighted the numerous challenges facing young people within the context of looming local municipal elections. Lines of discussion explored youth participation and expectations for the forthcoming local elections and how to concretise mechanisms for a more actively engaged political youth. The workshops also hosted senior Tunisian political figures to whom participants could highlight the numerous barriers and issues raised in the roundtables.

In addition, Forward Thinking met with Neji Jalloul, the Tunisian Minister of Education, to discuss the current political situation and our work in Tunisia.Tunisian Roundtables- Dinner with Neji Jalloul- 12-14th December 2015 Tunisian Roundtables 12-14th December 2015
