Forward Thinking hold meetings in Tunisia, 12th-14th April

Forward Thinking travelled to Tunisia, 12-14th of April,  to hold its monthly roundtable meetings with Tunisian political actors from across the political spectrum.   The meetings are part of Forward Thinking's Tunisian Political Dialogue Process, that brings together senior political and civil society actors to work together at a national level for the common good of Tunisia. This visit was the first Forward Thinking had made to the country since the formation of the new government of Ali Larayedh and provided an important opportunity to reflect on the current state of the Tunisian transition. The trip also provided the opportunity for Forward Thinking to continue to develop its engagement with Tunisian youth groups, through a roundtable meeting with youth activists from different political backgrounds. As much as 55% of Tunisians may be under 30, and understanding their aspirations and concerns is vital for Forward Thinking's work in the country.
