Forward Thinking hold meetings in Israel, West Bank and Gaza 15th – 19th January 2014

Forward Thinking held a number of meetings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv with Israeli political leaders, advisors, activists and academics on the 15th and 16th of January. Meetings took place in the Knesset with figures from the Labor, Yesh Atid, Shas and Jewish Home parties, where the work of Forward Thinking was discussed and a greater understanding was provided concerning ongoing regional developments and party policies.Forward Thinking then met with Palestinian political leaders, academics and activists of various affiliations in the West Bank and Gaza, where insight was given regarding perspectives on the current US-brokered talks, regional developments and challenges concerning Palestinian political reconciliation.The visit presented a valuable opportunity for Forward Thinking to establish and deepen relations with key actors in both the Israeli and Palestinian communities, and to gain a greater understanding of the current political dynamics.
