Forward Thinking hold meetings in Cairo and Alexandria, 26-28 February 2013

Oliver, Julian and Edward held a series of meetings in Cairo as part of the Egyptian Political Economic Dialogue Process. A roundtable meeting took place with participants from the Egyptian business community, civil society, the media, academia and political parties. The discussion was focused and in-depth, addressing a range of ongoing political and economic  challenges currently facing Egypt. In addition, a further roundtable meeting brought together leaders and economic figures from various political parties. Again, the discussion focused around the current political and economic situation, and the responses that are necessary to address ongoing challenges.Forward Thinking also visited Alexandria, where meetings were held with the Swedish Ambassador and the Deputy Director of the Swedish Institute, as well as with the head of Academic Research at the Library of Alexandria.
