Expressing Condolences in the Wake of the Murder of Sir David Amess MP

Forward Thinking expresses deep sadness at the killing of Sir David Amess MP on Friday 15 October. Our sympathies are with Sir David’s family and loved ones, as well as with his parliamentary colleagues who are concerned about the physical and verbal threats they face whilst carrying out their work. Our thoughts are also with the Somali community in Britain who, as evidenced by the experience of the Libyan community in Manchester during Forward Thinking’s work in the aftermath of the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017, will be deeply impacted by this atrocity.
