Exploring challenges and opportunities in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with Israel’s political right, Monday 15th March 2021

On Monday 15th March, Forward Thinking convened an internal Likud working group session with prominent figures within the party. In this initial workshop participants discussed some of the challenges, obstacles and potential opportunities towards addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The group also reflected on current political developments shaping Israel including the 23rd of March election. Ideas were explored and shared on what, and how, they can help as prominent figures within the Likud party, improve the conditions for initiating a long-term durable process to ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. All participants had previously travelled with Forward Thinking to Belfast and Dublin to explore the Irish experience of conflict resolution.
