Director to speak at seminar: "The Arab Spring three years on - between revolutions and counter-revolutions", 20th March 2014

On the 20th March, Oliver will speak at a seminar (organised by Critical Platform and the Cordoba Foundation) on the topic "The Arab Spring three years on - between revolutions and counter-revolutions." The seminar will take stock of the current state of the MENA region after three years of rapid change and developments.  The meeting will explore present and future scenarios and how regional crises such as Syria might be resolved.Other speakers at the event include:

  • Dr Maha Azzam - Associate Fellow, MENA Programme, Chatham House
  • Dr Omar Ashour - Lecturer in Middle East politics, Exeter University
  • Dr Anas Altikriti - CEO, The Cordoba Foundation

The Seminar will take place on Thursday 20th March, from 6.30pm-9pm, at: Queen Mary, University of London, Mile End. The event is free and open to all.
