Balancing Optimism and Pessimism in Palestine – Meetings on Palestinian Reconciliation, West Bank and Gaza, 6th – 16th November 2017

Forward Thinking held meetings with diverse political figures and youth groups across Palestine from 6th – 16th November 2017. Many views and perspectives were given concerning Palestinian reconciliation and the process currently underway. Whilst there is a degree of optimism amongst some at the political level, who believe that the process can deliver real change, many young people remain pessimistic and disillusioned. It is acknowledged that real change must occur in their daily lives if the process is to be deemed successful.
