Discussing cultural diplomacy and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict at conferences in London, March 2025

On 27 March, Oliver and Jordan participated in a panel discussion at the Britain Palestine Project’s screening of From Nakba to Camp David, a new documentary examining pivotal moments in the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

On 30 March, Jordan spoke at the Bridging Nations: Strengthening Türkiye-UK Relations through Cultural Diplomacy conference, hosted by the Turkish Embassy in London.

In his address, he highlighted the vital role of culture in building people-to-people understanding, and fostering good relations between countries.

He underscored the importance of viewing the relationship between the UK and Türkiye not through the lens of short-term challenges, but long-term opportunities - particularly given Türkiye’s crucial position in the Middle East.
