Meetings with the Palestinian Minister of Justice in London, 2-4 April 2025

Between 2-4 April, we convened meetings in London with His Excellency Mr Sharhabeel Al Zaeem, Minister of Justice in the technocratic Palestinian government, to continue discussions on the immediate challenges facing Gaza’s legal system.

Minister Al Zaeem, himself from Gaza, was a key speaker at both our March 2024 conference in Cairo and the follow-up  February 2025 Cairo conference. He outlined the complex challenges associated with the destruction of Gaza’s legal system. 

Senior British legal experts - who were also present at our February Cairo conference - participated and offered their own insights into addressing the priorities identified by the Minister.
