What next? The Iranian perspective on escalating tensions in the region, 17 October 2024

On 17 October, Forward Thinking convened an online discussion to hear the Iranian perspective on recent escalation in the region.

Three senior Iranian academics from the Institute for Political an International Studies (IPIS) in Tehran, the main think tank of the Iranian foreign ministry, led the discussion.

Foreign ministry officials, parliamentarians, diplomats, journalists, and academics participated from Belgium, France, Iraq, Ireland, the Order of Malta, South Africa, the UK, and the US.
