Visit to the Israeli Knesset, 26 November 2024

Israeli Delegation Explores Lessons from the Irish Peace Process

Between 28–31 October 2024, we facilitated a cross-party delegation of Israeli political advisors representing Likud, New Hope, Otzma Yehudit, Shas, and Yesh Atid. These advisors play a critical role in shaping government policies, particularly in areas such as conflict resolution and strategy. During their visit, the delegation met with key figures who were instrumental in the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement to explore insights and lessons relevant to fostering dialogue and conflict resolution.

On 26 November, the delegation reconvened in the Knesset to reflect on the visit and discuss ways to take the insights forward.

This group marked the 30th delegation we have facilitated. Over 200 participants, including Knesset ministers, MKs, and advisors, have engaged in the programme since its inception. The meeting concluded with a call to convene a space for programme alumni and to further develop our alumni network in 2025, creating opportunities for ongoing engagement and collaboration.

Cross-Party Knesset Meetings

During their visit, Oliver McTernan and Jordan Morgan also met with Minister Michael Malchieli, Minister of Religious Affairs (Shas); Miki Zohar, Minister of Culture and Sports (Likud); MK Ram Ben-Barak (Yesh Atid); MK Moshe Tur Paz (Yesh Atid); and MK Aida Touma-Suleiman (Hadash).

We remain committed to fostering inclusive dialogue and collaboration.
