Virtual dialogue, April 2012

Forward Thinking's Nyon Process held one of its virtual dialogue video conferencing meetings in the last week of April, focusing on the situation regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The session brought together representation of the leading Palestinian political movements, UK non-governmental conflict resolution practitioners and US non-governmental participation. The meeting was a frank, direct exchange about the situation facing Palestinians at this present time. There was an extensive discussion around the current situation and the lack of reconciliation and a unity government. The status of the peace process, the impact of the Arab Spring and the international situation concerning Europe and the US (and the forthcoming elections therein) were further topics of discussion.
