Unpacking the Palestinian Narrative – July 2021

During July 2021, Forward Thinking facilitated four closed strategy meetings with different senior officials and experts based in Gaza, Hebron, Nablus and Ramallah. The purpose of these conversations was to gather diverse insights about the challenges and opportunities facing the Palestinian narrative in 2021. During the sessions, participants discussed the ways in which an effective narrative determines how policymakers and the international community understand and engage with Palestinian realities and experiences. These timely discussions captured the urgent need for Palestinians to develop a unified vision for peace and reconciliation.
