UK Programme Manager holds meeting with Lucy Allan MP, 31st January 2017

On the 31st January 2017, Forward Thinking met with Lucy Allan MP to share its insights as part of a forthcoming proposed amendment to the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 Bill. Discussions considered the implementation of the Prevent Strategy, with a particular focus on counter terrorism legislation in primary schools and nurseries. The meeting took place ahead of a debate in Westminster Hall, on the 1st February 2017, between Lucy Allan, a cross party bench of MPs and Minister of State for Security at the Home Office, Mr Ben Wallace MP.

The meeting also afforded the chance to explore Forward Thinking's work with diverse Muslim constituencies across the U.K.
