The Value of the Irish Experiences - Meetings in Israel, 19th - 21st September

Exploring the Irish experiences of conflict and the peace process continues to be valued by  figures from within the national religious community who seek insights and opportunities for reflection on their own context, and how a durable resolution may be pursued. Meeting with influential women from this constituency provided the opportunity to discuss the marginalisation of religious perspectives from the mainstream narrative about peace, and the appetite for engagement that exists.Meetings across the 20th and 21st of September enabled Forward Thinking to assess how discussions in Belfast and Dublin can be most effective in provoking constructive dialogue and also highlighted how spaces for dialogue can be expanded and sustained upon participants' return home.
