The House of Wisdom Institute for Conflict Resolution and Governance resumes training course for judges in Gaza, October 2014

The House of Wisdom has continued to resume its activities in the Gaza Strip, following the recent escalation in the conflict, by restarting a capacity-building course for Palestinian judges, working with 30 judges from different courts. The course explores at length the considerations to be taken in relation to arrests and investigations, whilst also working to ensure that the rights of detainees are protected and maintained during criminal investigations. The House of Wisdom's establishment in 2007 was facilitated by Forward Thinking with the financial support of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
