The Forward Thinking Visit to the Army Officer Selection Board at Westbury, March 2012

As part of the preparation for our intended leadership programme, Forward Thinking were invited by the army to visit the Army Officer Selection Board (AOSB) at Westbury in order to observe potential future army officers undergo selection. As well as staff from Forward Thinking, we arranged for a number of other representatives from other grassroots organisations to attend as well. The visit was extremely useful, as it allowed us all to observe the thoroughly detailed techniques and evaluative criteria used by the army to identify leadership and potential amongst young people.
