The Director moderates sessions at the World Economic Forum on the Middle East North Africa 2015, Dead Sea, Jordan 21-23 May 2015

Oliver McTernan, Director of Forward Thinking, attended the World Economic Forum meeting on the Middle East North Africa 2015, at the Dead Sea in Jordan, 21-23 May. The meeting is convening over 800 key leaders from government, business and civil society to explore how to realise a comprehensive and forward-looking vision for prosperity and peace in the region. The Meeting will focus on how to respond to shared economic, societal and geopolitical imperatives, with particular emphasis on realising the aspirations of the region's youth - key for long-term success of efforts to counter marginalization and radicalization. Policy reform in will be another focus of the meeting, as will how to jump-start growth, foster job creation and entrepreneurship; and to encourage role of the private sector.Across the course of the meeting Oliver will moderate two sessions, focusing on the challenge of addressing violent extremism in the region.For more information on the meeting, visit: http://www.weforum.org/events/world-economic-forum-middle-east-and-north-africa-2015
