The Director invited by Silence in the City to give speech at Westminster Cathedral Hall, January 9th

Oliver McTernan has been invited to speak at a Silence in the City event on Thursday, 9th January 2014 in Westminster Cathedral Hall. The theme of Oliver's speech is: "Finding sense in a complex world: the need for a spiritual paradigm." The event will run from 19:00-21:00. Suggested donation £10. Tickets available at the door.Silence in the City is an organisation that hosts a series of talks on silent prayer and the Christian contemplative life and has been running events since 2007 in London's Westminster Cathedral Hall. They invite a range of speakers, each of whom is committed to the contemplative life, to explore the value of silence and the possibilities of silent prayer, as well as other monastic values such as solitude, simplicity and contemplative service.
