The Director holds meeting in Madrid, Israel and Palestine, 12th-16th May 2015

Oliver McTernan, Director of Forward Thinking, travelled to Israel and Palestine to analyse the situation in the region following the formation of a new coalition government within Israel.On-route Oliver held meetings in Madrid, where he met with senior members of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation and discussed the developing situation in the MENA region.On the 13th Oliver met with several members of the Israeli Knesset to discuss the post election situation and its implications. Oliver then travelled to Gaza where he met with political and civil society leaders, with whom he discussed the ongoing humanitarian situation within the Gaza Strip.
