Forward Thinking host Iftar dinner, Tunis 18th July

Oliver and Julian travelled to Tunisia, 16th-19th July to hold a series of bilateral meetings with senior politicians and civil society activists, as a part of Forward Thinking's ongoing dialogue in the country. As part of their visit they hosted an iftar dinner and discussion to follow up on Forward Thinking's last meeting that focused on the role of the media in times of transition. The discussion  focused on some of the main themes raised across the dialogue and on possible next steps to take the process forward. The dinner was well attended and brought together a range participants that Forward Thinking have engaged with over the last eight months including: representatives from the Troika, Nidaa Tounes, Al Majd and Al Islah; members of HAICA;  individuals from the judiciary; journalists and youth activists.
