Oliver McTernan and Julian Weinberg participated in the National Dialogue Conference, 5-6 April 2017, Helsinki.

Oliver McTernan was invited to speak at the National Dialogue Conference held in Helsinki, on a panel entitled, ‘Regional dynamics of National Dialogues in the Middle East.’ In his speech Oliver shared experiences and reflections from Forward Thinking’s work across North Africa and the Middle East.

The conference aimed to generate discussion on new insights and learning about national dialogue processes and to produce recommendations that should be taken into account in the design and management of national dialogue processes.

 The conference was organised by Crisis Management Initiative and the Finnish Foreign Ministry as well as Felm, Finn Church Aid and Common Space Initiative.
