Implications of Israeli annexation in the West Bank - the perspective of Mustafa Barghouti, 1st May 2020

On the 1st May 2020, Forward Thinking held an online discussion with Dr Mustafa Barghouti, cofounder and General Secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative. The session discussed the Palestinian perspective on recent political developments in Israel, the prospect of annexation of Israeli settlements, and the potential response of the international community. The meeting was attended by participants from France, the U.S.A., the Netherlands, Ireland, Sweden and the U.K. including former ministers, diplomats, and senior officials.This online discussion is part of a series of discussions with senior figures in both Israel and Palestine, to explore a range of perspectives, the most recent developments and identify opportunities to facilitate progress through further dialogue.
