Helsinki Policy Forum addressed by H.E. Javad Zarif, Foreign Minister of Iran, 31st May 2016

On the 31st of May 2016, the fifth meeting of the Helsinki Policy Forum was held in Helsinki, hosted by H.E. Timo Soini, the foreign minister of Finland. This meeting of the Forum was addressed by H.E. Javad Zarif, Foreign Minister of Iran, who stressed the importance of increasing opportunities for dialogue in the region, particularly between the countries of the Gulf.The Helsinki Policy Forum brings together high-level parliamentarians and political leaders, government officials, and financial experts from Europe, the Gulf, Middle East and North Africa and aims to provide a neutral space and working environment to facilitate informal, non-binding and regular contact between leading countries of the Gulf-MENA region in order to work towards a sustainable dialogue on peace and security.H.E.
