Gaza and Hebron: Divided by Geography, United in Economic Crises: Forward Thinking hold bilateral meetings in Gaza and the West Bank, 19th-24th March 2018

Between 19th and 24th March, Forward Thinking held a series of bilateral meetings in Gaza and the West Bank to follow up on the series of roundtables and conferences that took place in February 2018. In Gaza, discussions were held with Ministers, political and business leaders to establish what cooperation was possible as a result of the Conference on the Humanitarian Crisis in the strip that was facilitated by Forward Thinking. Meetings also took place with political leaders in Hebron and Ramallah to explore the results of the cross-factional roundtable held in February, focusing specifically on the political and economic life in Hebron and the wider West Bank. These one-on-one meetings are essential to gain insights and feedback from participants, and to determine how shared priorities can be developed into practical initiatives aimed at addressing them.
