FT Online: Briefing with Dr Mustafa Barghouti on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, 20 October 2023

On Friday 20th October 2023, Forward Thinking convened an online meeting with Dr Mustafa Barghouti to discuss the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Dr Barghouti provided a real-time update of the situation on the ground to our political/diplomatic network. He also discussed the risk of regional escalation, the response of Western media/leaders, the role of international law, the Israeli hostage situation, the need for elected Palestinian leadership, and the role of the Palestinian Authority. 

The meeting was attended by parliamentarians and diplomats from the UK, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Italy, the US, and Libya.
