Forward Thinking statement on the Finsbury Park attack, 19th June 2017

We were shocked and saddened by the news of this morning’s attack upon worshippers outside a mosque in Finsbury Park. An attack upon innocent worshippers celebrating the holy month of Ramadan is truly criminal. Finsbury Park is a symbol of Britain’s diversity and the ability of all communities to live together in harmony and such an attack cannot succeed in spreading division and hatred.

All the Forward Thinking Staff and Trustees offer our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the wounded and the deceased, and to all those who have been affected.
