Forward Thinking hosts Professor Daniel Schueftan, 8th July, for a roundtable discussion on developments in the region

Professor Schueftan provided a briefing on the current security challenges confronting Israel, as he perceived them, and how these might be addressed. Professor Schueftan is a senior Israeli academic and director of the National Security Studies Center at the University of Haifa, where he also serves as a senior lecturer in the School of Political Science. He has also taught at the Israel Defence Force (IDF) National Security College and the IDF’s Command and Staff College. Professor Schueftan has also served as an advisor to Israel’s National Security Council and to former Prime Ministers Yitzhak Rabin and Ariel Sharon.
