Forward Thinking hold UK project meetings in Batley, Bradford and Leicester, 1st-2nd December 2015

Forward Thinking, in conjunction with the Institute of Statecraft's  ‘Shared Outcomes’ programme for youth engagement in under-privileged areas, travelled to Batley, Bradford and Leicester for a series of meetings with grassroots Muslim organisations working in this field, 1st- 2nd of December. The meetings illustrated the challenges of social inclusion facing many within these communities and provided insight into the community specific dynamics of each locale.The meetings established wider participation in Forward Thinking’s UK programme of raising political visibility, coordinated with ‘Shared Outcomes’ practical skills-based engagement, and further clarified the structure of the programmes and the mechanism of their coordination.
