Forward Thinking hold meetings in Israel and Palestine, 19th – 25th November 2016

Youth group in GazaMarking the start of Forward Thinking’s Palestinian Dialogue Programme, the Middle East team travelled between Jerusalem, Nablus, Hebron, Ramallah and the Gaza Strip, holding a series of roundtables and bilateral meetings focusing on the challenges and priorities of youth groups, businesspeople and political figures in these areas. This provided opportunity for comprehensive discussion identifying key factors impacting the lives of Palestinians and different levels of society and politics.Youth group in Ramallah 

   

  Forward Thinking also met with Israeli political figures from Yesh Atid and Labour in order to explore current political dynamics in Israel and to discuss the expansion and consolidation of the Irish Peace Process Programme.
