Forward Thinking hold bilateral meetings in Tunis, 2nd-5th February 2014

As part of Forward Thinking’s Tunisian Political Pluralism Dialogue Process (TPPDP), Julian Weinberg travelled to Tunis to hold a series of bilateral meetings with senior political and civil society figures, as well as with European diplomats. During the visit, Julian met with a diverse range of political activists, including leading representatives from: CPR, Ennahda, Ettakatol, Nidaa Tounes and the Trade Union UTICA.The meetings provided an important opportunity to discuss the work of Forward Thinking in Tunisia and plan the future activities of the TPPDP in the coming months. Through discussions, Julian was also able to gain an insight into the current political climate in Tunisia following the completion of the constitution and the formation of the government of Mehdi Jomaa.Julian meeting with Ouided Bochamaoui, President of UTICA
