Forward Thinking attend Institute for Statecraft workshop on Middle East Security, 11th June 2015

Members of the Forward Thinking team, including the Director and Political Dialogues Director, were invited to attend a workshop organised by the Institute for Statecraft exploring issues related to Middle East security. The workshop was well attended and brought together representatives of think-tanks, academics, parliamentarians,  former diplomats and senior members of the armed forces, from both the UK and USA.Discussions focused on several pressing challenges, but particular attention was paid to Islamic State (IS) and how to develop an effective and coherent strategy to address this threat.
