Forward Thinking attend Iftar at Finsbury Park Mosque, 20th June 2016

On the 20th June 2016, Jordan Morgan attended the breaking of the fast (Iftar) at Finsbury Park Mosque, London. Hosted by the Muslim Association of Britain, the event brought together local leaders from Christian, Jewish and Muslim faith communities, local emergency and public service providers, NGOs, charitable and other civil society organisations. Discussions took place on the need to diffuse tension, discrimination and violence, which feed off perceived differences within diverse communities and neighbourhoods. Speakers included Leader of the Labour Party, and Leader of the Opposition, Jeremy Corbyn MP, Diane Abbott MP, Shadow Secretary of State for International Development and Emily Thornberry MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Defence.IMG_5199
