Exploring challenges in Hebron, Forward Thinking facilitate roundtable workshop, 27th February 2018

On the 27th of February Forward Thinking facilitated a roundtable workshop in Hebron. The meeting, which brought together a cross factional group of  politicians along with academics and youth representatives, provided space to discuss the challenges of political and economic life in Hebron and the West Bank in the current context. Participants reiterated the need to go beyond analysing challenges and used the space to identify  practical recommendations and potential solutions.   How to promote economic development, carry out reforms in education, create opportunities for greater youth participation and to support political reconciliation were just some of the themes that were explored. This roundtable is part of a wider visit Forward Thinking is in the process of conducting, with further meetings taking place in the West Bank in the coming days.
